I presently work in the medical technology field for a Fortune 500 company that develops advanced surgical devices, patient monitoring technology, diagnostic AI, and data driven solutions.

I also teach psychology/cognitive science courses at New Mexico State University where I also maintain several research collaborations and ongoing, grant-funded research programs. My research focus is on expanding our basic understanding of visual perception and mechanisms for the advancement of safe, well-aligned artificial intelligence systems that can be leveraged in high-stakes environments.
